I Corinthians 13

Love is valuable. Profitable. Obtainable and good.
Its meaning often misunderstood

Love is:

Gentle and calm, not agitated and loud
Humble when it could haughty and proud

Gracious, not thoughtless
Trustful, not jealous

Shows honor instead of scorn
Is modest, not tooting its own horn

Is generous instead of being greedy
Protects, instead of causing injury.

Endures when it could easily retreat
Doesn’t list wrongs on a balance sheet

Love is valuable. Profitable. Obtainable and true
Love never fails, even when I do

Love is:

God. And God is Love.
